Farmers Coop Society (FCS) has always been dedicated to supporting our farmers who grow and raise the food that sustains our communities. Through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, FCS has created opportunities for its members to diversify and thrive in today’s competitive agricultural landscape. Now, with the introduction of Member’s Cut, we’re bringing our mission full circle—connecting local farmers directly to consumers and showcasing the very best of what our region has to offer.

Founded by Farmers Coop Society, Member’s Cut was born out of a deep commitment to our cooperative business model and a passion for supporting local agriculture. We understand that the quality of the food on our tables directly reflects the hard work and dedication of those who raise and produce it. Member’s Cut is more than a butcher shop—it’s a celebration of the bond between farmers, their communities, and the families who enjoy their products. Every cut of meat offered at Member’s Cut tells the story of our members’ efforts, reflecting their expertise and passion for farming. While we’re proud to highlight the work of our members, Member’s Cut is open to everyone in the community. You don’t have to be a member to shop with us—we’re excited to bring these premium, locally sourced products to your dinner table.

Our journey begins with locally grown and raised beef and pork, sourced from FCS member farms. These producers share our commitment to quality and sustainability, ensuring that every cut—from dry-aged steaks to smoked specialties—embodies our promise of freshness and flavor.
Our premium Angus beef and Duroc pork lines are thoughtfully crafted to bring out the best in each product, offering an unparalleled farm-to-table experience. Located on Highway 75 in Sioux Center, Member’s Cut provides the community with unique cuts and products not typically available in the area, elevating the standard for locally sourced meat.
Member’s Cut represents the final step in FCS’s full-circle approach to supporting agriculture. From the seed in the ground to the meat on your table, FCS is there every step of the way. Our Agronomy Division helps members with seed selection, crop planning, and custom fertilizer and chemical applications to maximize yields. Our Grain Division offers storage and grain marketing solutions to ensure that harvested crops are handled with care and precision. Our Feed Division transforms those grains into high-quality feed for cattle and hogs, supporting the diversified operations of our members. Now, through Member’s Cut, we’re helping producers take the next step—bringing their products directly to the community’s dinner tables.
This full-circle approach is the embodiment of the cooperative spirit. Unlike traditional businesses, cooperatives like FCS are built on collaboration and shared success. Profits are reinvested into the cooperative or returned to our members, ensuring that every step forward benefits both the farmers we serve and the communities we live in.
